I don’t know the details

I have one of those "Lifeline" cell phones and ran out of minutes, just as I was hearing that my friend A, the biker, has been in a motorcycle crash. I heard broken ribs, a broken back, and other injuries.

His ex called me, whose call I ignored because of the lack of minutes – she does tend to talk – and she left a voicemail with the wrong telephone number, so I had to go online and pay another 5 dollars on the phone to get some more minutes and then called her to get the right number.

He said he’s in a lot of pain. doesn’t know where his bike is, can’t remember anything between grabbing the brake and being in the hospital (which one???) He has someone coming to get his keys and feed his dog, and I guess we’ll talk tomorrow.

Damn.

how very sad! prayers he heals quickly and gets his memory back soon. does he know what happened? poor guy. i feel so bad for him. he must be in a lot of pain with those broken ribs. i’m still in pain almost 4 weeks later after falling and just hitting my ribs really hard. will you be able to go see him? the news channels have been talking about being careful on bikes since it was a nice weekend and lots of bikers out and there were several accidents and one death. i guess people need to be reminded to drive safely after a winter of not riding. anyway, prayers for your friend. take care,

oh noes. hope he pulls thru, people just don’t see motorcycles on the road. very dangerous.
