Perspective is everything
I often say "it could be worse" because I know it could be, and isn’t
When I start to think "oh woe is me" all I really need to do is look around me or talk to someone else. There’s always someone worse off, and in comparison, things for me are pretty good.
I should STFU about my problems and get on with it.
Humbly submitted:
Onwards.

I don’t think that mentioning your problems is a bad thing. But acknowledging them and then figuring out whether it’s something you can or should fix, or cannot, that’s moving onwards. 😉

Maybe it’s just reaching a happy medium, I think it’s good not to dwell on negative but recently I let it all out in writing and felt a lot better. Always good to shake the dust off and move on though. 🙂

We all struggle with our troubles, and talk about them, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Sometimes it’s good to get it out and move on. Onward, as you say. Good thing is that bad times don’t usually last, good comes, then bad, then good, you get the picture.

i don’t know if you read my diary back in 2007/2008 when raymond was dying of cancer but if i hadn’t been able to write here and get support and encouragement i don’t know that i could have made it thru. i wish i had had od back in 1994 when my son died. writing out your problems can literally save your life. take care,
