The interview? well, lemme tell ya

First off, thank you everyone for the support and encouragement.

I said, as the interview concluded, "This is the job I have been looking for, and I look forward to being part of this team".

The interviewer said, "you are the person we’ve been looking for!"

Next up, a state and federal background investigation and submitting my fingerprints.

Which presents NO problems; I did all of the above in 06 for the school bus driving job, and in 2011 for the Medical Transport job, and nothing has changed. My driving record for the last five years is clean, driving my car; I don’t know about driving for a job – the bus jobs – but my individual record is spotless, and I am not applying for a bus driving job anyway. I will be using my own car, and have full insurance on it.

I was confident but not arrogant, relaxed and not tongue -tied, early for the appointment, and personable and smiled.

I can do this job: assisting adolescents develop life skills and to look after them, kids who live in group homes and/or with foster parents.

I can, and I WILL do this job.

In short:

Success, and third time’s the charm.
