Goosebumps

I wrote this entry on the last Friday the 13th. I find it…well, read it, and then I’ll add some stuff.

I didn’t even realize that it was Friday the 13th until I started reading entries. It’s very fitting, though. I had an extremely unlucky, everything-goes-wrong type day.

We’ve been at my Grandma’s the last few days. We left around 2:30 to come home. It usually takes an average of an hour and a half to get home. Today, in 1 hour, we made it about 25 miles.

Traffic was horrid…it was at an absolute standstill. In Vallejo, my mom decided to find a back road. Somehow, she got lost and we ended up in a strange town, completely going the wrong way. We finally made it back on the road, and stopped in the next town (it’s about 15 minutes away, it took about 45 minutes to get there) and saw a movie (Monster in Law- very funny). We finally got home just before 8…and the trip is supposed to take a little over an hour.

Plus, my mom and I were bickering all day. I somehow got blamed for her getting lost…yeah, I’d like that one explained to me. I wasn’t driving…I wasn’t even navigating. I was just reading, while she drove all over town, getting us more and more lost.

Needless to say, I’m exhausted. I have a lot of pictures…I’ll post some tonight.

I find it very unsettling.

Almost creepy.

We left my Grandma’s around 1:00 today. Traffic was horrible, just like in the above entry. We didn’t get lost, but we did spend an hour looking for a Starbucks (yeah, yeah. Shaddup). We stopped, and saw a movie. We got home a few minutes ago, and it’s 8:00 right now.

Creepy? A bit.

Thankfully, we had a peaceful trip.  No bickering or getting lost for us.
