Issue Resolved

Hello all,

We are happy to report that yesterday Engineering applied a combination of fixes to optimize system performance back to previous levels, and we have monitored closely for the last 24 hours and have seen no additional performance problems.

At this point, the site should be running correctly for everyone – if you see any issues, please let the Support Staff know through the link at the bottom of the page.

Thanks everybody for your patience, and apologies that this fix took awhile to get in place – but it was a pretty complex problem, and took quite some time to figure out.

Hooray! It’s 100X better now. Thanks. I was getting a message that I could restore my old diary, but I already did that when I signed up for the new OD. Apparently it’s still restoring more than 24 hours later, with a “Restoring old diary content may take up to 24 hours.” message. Is it going to restore another layer so that I have two copies of everything? I hope not! LOL

@startingover_1 that is very strange – if you haven’t already, could you please report that to the Support Staff through the link at the bottom of the page? If it does end up that you have two copies of entries, we can remove them for you – that has happened a couple times in the past. Thanks!

I have been flawlessly navigating our community.  Have had one brief hiccup.  Whatever you did is working.  Thank you Open Diary Support Staff.  I was a little hard on you in my diary.  All good things come to those who wait.  My patience ran out.  Now I am very content.
