World War Trump
The saga continues with Trump. What will he do next to piss off our allies. In particular he seems to target Canada. Mexico succumbed to his threats and for now we will have fresh vegetables and fruits. Depending on Columbia if we get bananas and other fruits and veggies that come through Mexico.
Trump seems hell bent on ruining other economies besides ourselves. In particular the UK. The UK fortunately for them they are not dependent on us as we are on them. They can make some adjustments and live without the USA. Other smaller countries will have their economies severely disrupted. Trump is a bully with his tariffs. Threatening other countries every day is his game with Elon.
Meanwhile he seems hell bent on gutting our economy ruined. He threatened our senators and Representatives who chose to be in lock step with orders from Mr Trump. The republicans are dogs listening for the dog whistle from Elon who seems to be the puppet master.
I would love to hear your thoughts.
It’s hard to imagine the minds of the people applauding this- I don’t mean the moneyed that stand to gain, but the everyday citizen.
By the way , my understanding is that Mexico did not “succumb”, but morel Ike played trump. Do you have different information?

I don’t get MSNBC, but I follow Rachel Maddow on fb and listen to NPR for my news so I am not up to speed. I also watch The View.

Trump has managed to distinguish himself by being not only the most foolish president we’ve ever had, but perhaps the most public of all the fools in the world. His latest assault is on the penny, which will actually end up costing more money than it saves. Currently, it costs 2 cents to make a penny, which ends up losing $85 million dollars. Sounds bad, right?
But if we stop using pennies and shift to the nickels, it will be far worse: nickels cost 14 cents to produce, which means instead of losing 1 cent on each coin minted, the US Mint will lost 9 cents on every nickel minted. And we’ll need more nickels to fill in for those millions of pennies that are no longer minted.
Oh, and it’ll cost jobs in a heavily Republican county where they make the “blanks” from which pennies are made.

@mankiller26 the whole world has been an oligarchy. Democracy has always been a facade of a choice. They’ve never stopped reaching into our pockets.
