Three good things: Jeffrey got a new prescription and glasses ordered.  We got our big Sam’s grocery haul done today.  I took an awesome nap.

Okay, I have not written in a while.  Let me just go through the weekend….Friday I was supposed to have my brothers on my dads side over for a 4th of July cook out.  No one showed except my youngest brother Zach.  It was okay we had a good time anyway.  Jeff worked the morning of the 4th and made some money.  Then he came home and grilled for us.  The kids swam, we ate, and just talked and hung out.  We lit fireworks off (just little fountains) and Nevaeh had her friend Aria over.

Saturday we didn’t do much.  We stayed at home and swam again, we swim pretty much daily, why would we not ya know.  I watched a lot of coverage about the Camp Mystic flood, and all the sadness coming out of the aftermath.

Sunday we went bumming around.  We went to goodwill here in town and in Sterling.  Their pink tags were all $1.00 per item (for clothing only).  We got like 5 pairs of pants for the big boys and a handful of shorts for the littles.  I also got a few items for me, not much.  Jeff found three pairs of brand new jeans with tags on them for a buck each.  It really was a good idea to go out.

Today we went to Rockford again because Jeffrey lost his glasses at the water park last week and their next available appointment was September, or they do walk-ins on Mondays.  We got there right at opening and they got us in immediately.  We ordered him a new set of glasses, they’ll be here in a week.

We started a new family night.  We will be video calling Jeff’s mom and sister every Monday night at 8 their time.  We did it tonight and it was so nice.  We caught up on each other.  My sister in law is so (cutely) huge with her twins.  I love her so much and I am so sad we wont be there to meet them right away.  We will probably go back and visit for Thanksgiving the twins will be anywhere from 1-3 months old.  They told her to prepare for birth as early as August.  We are hoping they wait until closer to October.

I weighed myself and I have lost a couple pounds.  Jeff weighed himself and he is down to 260.  He was 340 in November.  He has lost 80 pounds.  Freaking amazing.  Even since his surgery he has lost 40 pounds.  He’s doing it all natural, no medication help.  He isn’t opposed to it but we cannot afford it.

Tomorrow Jeff works, since he took today off he is starting the week behind but we are hoping we have a great week like the last two have been.  Not much is going on otherwise tomorrow or this week honestly.  Its already 11:30 I should think about hitting the bed.
