My Infamous Line

Perhaps there was a time when I believed that love could save me.
But now I realize that even love will never be enough. Not that love isn’t enough….it’s just – there will always be this obsession in my mind that I am not capable of being loved.
I will push and push, until I prove it.
Then run away to my corner and break down, quietly whispering my infamous line –
“I told you so.”
