Sassy’s Last Days

On Sunday, November 4, 2012, I noticed my cream female hamster, Sassy breathing rapidly.  Recalling the same symptom in past hamsters, I suspected pneumonia, and that is what the vet diagnosed, too.  I’ve been giving her antibiotics everyday as instructed, but today, I found her still and not breathing, which meant death.  I had her for about 18 months.
