Rage (Chapter 6)

“So how did Joseph not get wiped out with all the other Knights?” Anna said, sitting in the office of the headmaster.

Robert sighed and ran a hand over his face.

“Are you sure you’d like to really know the answer to that question. You know as well as I do that the video file to that answer is here, but only I have permission to it…which is why you’re here.”

” I feel that if I’m going to go into the field with him, I’d be more comfortable knowing.”

“Joseph didn’t get “wiped out”, as you say, because he stormed the office of the United Police Colition, where the instigators were. Who all happened to be high ranking officials. He stormed the station and killed every last one. And before you start thinking him crazy, you must realize one thing. Joseph had no one else than the members of the Knighthood. Those people were his family, his friends, his relatives, his everything. He saw every last one of them killed and no one did anything. After the final Knight was killed, a young female novice of the old age of 10, Joseph snapped and went straight to the UPC.”

And with that, before Anna could reply, Robert pressed a button on his desk and the vid screen in front of him came to life.

The night was dark with a new moon and the sky overcast. But even in the darkness, the UPC was well lighted, almost as day. Two guards leaned against the wall of the UPC front guard tower, looking bored and throwing old jokes back and forth. They were snapped out of their boredom quickly. There striding out of the darkness and into the light was Joseph in full Knight combat armor. He stroke forward, oblivious of the bullets that the guards had started shooting at him. He reached the first guard, reaching up with a metal encased hand, he gripped the guard’s throat and closed his hand. Bone and muscle ground to powder under the combined strength of the Knight and the armor. The guard gurgled once before dropping lifeless to the ground. The other guard, seeing that the bullets were not even denting the armor, much less penetrating, swung his steel baton at Joseph’s head. Without even turning around, his hand shot out and caught the baton, pulling quickly and slamming the guard into the wall. He glared at the guard before cutting him in half with a quick sword swipe. He walked to the steel enforced door and put his hand on it. He drew his hand back slightly and punched forward. The door flew into the complex, knocking a few people down before slamming someone into a wall and crushing him. Joseph drew his 45a’s. He went after each enforcer personally, killing with his hands or his guns. A triple head tap every time he used a 45a. Three in the head…one in each eye and one in the forehead. The carnage continued as Joseph walked further into the complex. An enforcer in full armor jumped onto top of Joseph from behind, hoping to take him down. Joseph meerly grunted from the added weight, reached behind him and threw the enforcer on the ground in front of him. He gripped the helmet in both hands and with a quick movement twisted. The eyeplates looked behind the man now as Joseph walked on. Joseph shattered the expensive wood door of the officer’s board room with hardly a thought or pause. He knew they were there. The murderers of sixty three Knights, including twelve novices ranging in age from ten to sixteen. The first of the officers was waiting for him…with a personal anti-armor rocket lancher. He fired the rocket as Joseph came through the door. Joseph span around, grabbing the rocket in mid air and using the power of the Knight and armor combined, changed its course to the officer. He screamed as he was blown apart. He had been responsible for the murder of many Knights including the 15 year old female novice. Joseph walked on, through the debris. He reached two of the next officers. He tripped head tapped on of them without thought. The other he picked up and grabbed his head in one hand and the feet in the other. He started pushing the two together. The six foot five man was three foot two when Joseph dropped him. That man had been responsible for the murder of a 12 year old male novice. But Joseph’s attention was rivited on the door in front of him. The office of the general. He slammed through the door with hardly a pause. The man stared at him, thinking how impossible it was. There was no way a single man could have made it through all those enforcers.

“It is time you pay for your crimes.” Joseph strode toward the man, the personal murderer of Joseph’s own legal guardian and a ten year old female novice. The man looked at Joseph and started to scream.

Anna started to look away from the screen.

“Eyes front merc.” Robert said harshly.

Anna took a deep breath and looked back at the screen to see Joseph striding away from the room. She noticed there was a time lapse on the screen of half an hour. It seems that she was not the only one who had been disturbed with the images there. It was then though that she saw the worst of Joseph’s rage. He had crushed every major bone in the man’s body, his body would not even stay straight. There was nothing left to hold it up.

“Now you see the man who will be leading you and the team of students. Here is where you will walk out of this office and decide if his actions were justified by the crimes of the men he killed. Dismissed.”

The last thing Anna saw as she walked out of the office was Robert put his head in his hands. She knew that the vid had been beyond disturbing, but she didn’t know why he was effected in the way he was.

It was not until three hours later, in the archives that she had her answer. Then ten year old girl had been the headmaster’s daughter….

Yikes, bone crushing entry

Wow… I can’t imagine seeing something like that. Far too squeamish.Take care.me

Never was very comfortable with guns. Probably why I started taking Karate at such a young age. Someone tried to teach me to fire one at one point, but I wouldn’t even hold the thing. Odd, huh? In any case, entertaining as always, if not a bit gory. But a little gore is certainly worthwhile every now and again. *grin* Well done as always. IF
