remi is five months today, i can’t believe how fast it is all going this time. she likes to sit up on her own, she sleeps fairly well, she’s way too interested in things around her to eat during the day… she seems quite extroverted. i don’t remember jace being that interested in the world around him at this stage.

jeff is interviewing with a place i’ve been feeling might be a good idea to try for a while now. next tuesday. it’s a “pre-interview” in which they test his knowledge of excel and such. i’m really, really praying it will pan out, as we could use the extra money.

his last paycheck bounced. it’s sort of nerve-wracking to know that his boss only just barely has enough to cover his pay each month.

we got new neighbors to the west of us, and the wife works at this company. not that it really means anything, i just thought it was interesting. they are attending our church and it’s nice to have respectful, quiet people living next to us for once.

two of the three apartments to the east of us are empty. they’re putting new windows in the one directly next to us, and i semi wish they’d put new ones in our house. it’d be nice to have the upgrade, but noisy for jeff.

my arm continues to improve. i can put my own hair up in a ponytail now. i still can’t quite reach my own shoulder on that side. sometimes if i rotate it a certain way it’s quite painful. but coming along. the scar hurts like mad, though. i’m rubbing vitamin e into it as much as i can remember to do so.

i’ve been on a bit of a spring cleaning stint lately. i repacked a bunch of our crap and we put it in the floor beneath the house. freed up a lot of closet space. my current project is redoing the pantry and moving a shelf from the kitchen to jace’s room to replace a smaller one, and putting the smaller one in our room. i’m really amazed at how much crap is on our shelves that’s way past expired and just not good any more.

i think that’s all there is to report at the moment.

It’s hard to keep track of expiration dates sometimes! Things just sit forever. I hope the interview goes well and that Jeff gets the job.

Wow. I can’t believe his paycheck bounced. I’ll be praying that this new job works out.
