i think pretty much anyone who reads this i already have on facebook, but.. just in case, here’s an update.

not that anything new is going on.

jace turned 3. i’m exhausted by him lately because every other thing i say to him is to stop doing various things to his sister. i’m hoping soon he’ll realize that a sister is an ally and not an enemy. we went to a train museum for his birthday. the day as a whole was not a success, but there were small triumphs all day.

remi is 9 1/2 months now. she has seven teeth and i imagine another will crop up shortly. she loves our cats. also loves to climb the stairs and can even climb down them. she hates baby food and has been eating small chunks of “people” food for a couple months now. she still completely sucks at sleeping. i’m about to go nuts, and i’m sure i’ll be saying that for many months to come.

both kids are at less than 30% for their height and weight, if i remember right. we just have shrimpy kids, i guess.

we started homeschooling jace. there are a lot of things to remember and prepare each weekend, but i like it overall. i’m frustrated when i put a lot of effort into something he barely shows interest in doing, but now and then we hit on stuff he really likes and it makes it feel worthwhile.

i’m struggling with the season change. very soon its going to be too cold to go outside and with two kids, that depresses me a lot.

jeff still cant find new work. job fairs, resume grooming, networking… nothing seems to work. with the way the economy is going though, at least he has a job.

i’ve been asked to serve in the nursery at church. i’m a little nervous as church is the only time i see other adults sometimes. but i’ll do my best.

jace is being jake from “jake and the neverland pirates” for halloween. remi is skully from the same show. jeff is being captain hammer. i’m gonna be shari lewis, if i can find a red curly wig today.

which is what it’s time for – wake everyone up from nap and go shopping.

Even if I see updates on FB, I still love reading your entries. 🙂 I’m assuming there will be other people helping you in nursery, so at least you get some adult company. 🙂
