I WILL NOT EAT NOW-ok

Tonight I had nine people for supper. The couple that I really wanted to come because we ate at their house in April couldn’t come!!!! I had a few other friends over for dessert.

Hubby made a barbecue so it was very easy. A friend brought a salad and someone else brought cookies.

They just left about 11. I was thinking and dreaming of eating CHIPS now but just decided NOT TO!

I AM NOT HUNGRY.

I CAN DO WITHOUT THEM.

I WANT TO LIMIT MY SNACKS WHEN I CAN.

TONIGHT I WILL NOT EAT ANYTHING ELSE. IF I HAVE TO I WILL JUST GO TO BED. IT’S AFTER 11 ANYHOW.

I did some painting this afternoon – small abstract paintings. I enjoyed painting. I did it on a small table. I put plastic underneath and was careful. So now I know I can paint here and I will at home too. They are far from masterpieces but I enjoyed doing them. I can spend some time painting. I have no idea what I will do with the paintings but so what? The important thing is that I am doing something I enjoy.

Some of my friends were talking about joining the RED HAT society. I don’t know if there are any groups in our area that has open membership so I will check with my friends tomorrow Maybe we can start our own group.

So now I want to read some old entries. Have a peaceful night.

I wish we could see pictures of your paintings, your work area, etc. 🙂 About Toronto – well we’d both love to live abroad in the future some more but Canada is the best place for Mehmet to go to school and to find work. In other countries he’ll need a special visa to work, very very difficult to get – but in Canada he can just work as a resident. We’re still waiting for word fromCanadian immigration. It’s been almost 10 months we’ve been waiting. They’re working on it though, we know that. Till they tell us what the answer is, we can’t make our plans. So yes, Toronto is our plan, but not for sure until we hear from the embassy here! 🙂 I asked Mehmet about that Turkish name and we couldn’t think of any girl’s name that was close to that really. What was your memory of it again?
