THE LATEST – ok
My hubby went to the doctor this morning. My hubby has prostate cancer and will need to go to a radiologist. He will probably need radiation so for now everything is on hold.
I don’t know if I will be able to go to NY.
I don’t know when we will go to Florida.
We will have to wait and see.
I am sorry. I will hold your hubby up in prayer. I also will pray for you. Big hugzz.

I’m sorry to hear about your husband’s problems with cancer. My dad had prostate cancer and like many people with the disease he died of other diseases. It is usually very slow developing.

I’m so sorry. More and more men are getting diagnosed with this and the choices of treatment are very perplexing. My brother had the surgery AND radiation and I think he must be sorry – he leaks! 🙁 A good friend Jim had the surgery and is just fine – no problems. Another had the radiation “seeds” or whatever you call them – I think he is doing ok. Terrible decisions, I think.

When my dad was diagnosed about 40 years ago, they said it grows so slowly that something else will kill you first — and it did! I’m not hearing this so much any more….

My dad had that and I went with him to the dr. They told me that a lot of men get it when older but that it grows so slowly few die from it. Dad was given a chemo shot and psi test every 3 months and he had it for about 10 years with no problem . Hope your hubby has the same as dad and all wil be good for him. Dad died at age 85 from a heart attack. So have hope.
