Starbucks

I had my interview at 11am this morning and I’ll be going
back.  The manager lady was awsome.  We got along right
away.  I like young energetic managers and she was definately
that… and lots of fun.  What was really great was that she
needed an opener (which is what I wanted to do) and she didn’t require
20 hours.

I had prayed before I went to the interview because I didn’t really
know what I wanted.  I just prayed that God would sort of lead me
on what to do, whether to take the job or not.  Well, it was
pretty clear I should take it because she was willing to give me the
few hours I wanted to work and pretty much the exact times.  The
pay sucks, but I already expected that — $7.50/hour and tips are worse
than when I used to work there — they average about $1.50/hour when
they used to average about $2.00.  I’m not surprised, every time
they raised the coffee prices, our tips would get smaller.  But
I’m still looking forward to it because I did love working there. It is
a really fun job.  And if I manage to get enough energy to work 20
hours/week Starbucks has phenomonal benefits, so we’ll see.

Hi! I decided to keep a diary on here too. Sometimes I check out what you’re up to, since we’re too busy to talk as often as I’d like. Can you guess who this is? 🙂
