Hi John! Welcome to Open Diary! I’ve read many, many, many self help books in my day. I had a bookcase filled with nothing buy self help books. I found them to be very helpful when I was going through my divorce (after a long term marriage) and then learning to embrace my life thereafter. Presently, I don’t read them but who is to say that I won’t in the future? I think many turn to them during major change in their lives.

Yes. I highly recommend Jay Shetty’s “Think Like a Monk”. I read it three years ago and it changed my life and my outlook on life.
