TONGUE PEIRCED? WARNING:PICTURE MAY DISTURB

I was so close to getting my tongue peirced this weekend (today’s Sunday). It was all arranged. I told Mum and was like ‘No your not.’ and I was like ‘Yes I am.’ and I thought that would be the end of it. But then my dad found out and he went crazy on me. They don’t like the health risks involved (e.g. infection & tooth chipping) and say it looks cheap and slutty. Anyway so I plan to get it done next weekend. I’m really excited cuz I think it’ll really suit me.

I found out today that my mum’s on anti-depressants. Zoloft to be exact. That means she has depression, anxiety disorder or OCD. Does depression run in families? I know my great grandma’s on anti-depressants for depression. She’s slowly going crazy though, so hopefully with craziness will come happiness.

Hi!im back(i was on a trip with friends,i’ll explain in my next entry)i no a friend who has depression running in the family,& its kind of sad cause i think she may hav depression(cause of how she acts)but only her mum believes its true and everone else(including my parents thinks shes just weird.i guess you can’t put yourself in someone elses shoes.i wanna write you more but hav 2 go now….

hey i got my tongue periced 2 fridayz ago and its f**kin awesome me and my bf got them done together, they look bad ass and it didnt really even hurt that much except the next day it wuz sore and i wuz like drooling all over myself but irs worth it and my parents didnt kno i had gotten it done until my sis told them but its all good…well im gonna go smoke, and then go to bed…peace…courtney

just make sure you keep your mouth clean by using listerine throughout the day and bruch regulary.most people dont even know i have one.be careful to keep it tight because you CAN swallow it while eating.dont bite on it,thats how you chip your teeth.make sure its sterile and that they use gloves.eat plenty of ice after and dont eat any hard food for a couple of days. good luck!

I know it’s probably not what you were really going for… but it strikes me as really funny that you said your dad thinks tongue piercings are really cheap and slutty and then you said you think it’ll suit you.

So you are getting it done without your parents permission? You do realise that tongue piercings are one of the most dangerous you can get and NO good piercer will do that for you when you are under age – not only are you too young to get any sort of piercings done without parental concent tongue piercings are considered sexual piercings so you have to be over 18. You can’t get it done.
