American Idol: Alabama

Sorry so late, but with everything going on in my personal life right now, I’m getting so blase about it, I didn’t even take notes last night.
 
The girl with the baby voice — other than hating to hear her talk, I thought her singing voice wasn’t bad.  I do agree that she needs to stop all the warbling though.  Get to the note, hold the note.  That’s it folks.

The girl who’s dad shot himself in the neck — not a great voice but she got the pity vote.  She irritated me for some reason.  I think this year’s crop is running with the sob story because of Kelly Pickler last year.  Yeah, yeah, we’ve all had our crosses to bear.  Either you can sing or you can’t.  This competition isn’t about who had the worst upbringing.  Get over it and shut the fuck up. 
 
The Rock With Me guy wasn’t bad.   I should have gone back to see what Paula was talking about, but I just didn’t care.
 
The big guy with all the curls had a good voice.  They’d have to work hard on his image.  I actually have a bit of a crush on him.  I like that’s he is different, I love his sense of humor and I hope he doesn’t allow them to change his appearance too much.  He reminded me of John Popper [sic] a little.  He’s pegged as my favorite right now so far.
 
Paula’s very animated, isn’t she?  I loved how Simon and Randy kept messing with the last singer at the end of the show.  She was a riot!
