Hump Day

It’s really lovely outside today.  If it were a tad bit sunnier it would be a perfect day for me.

Yesterday as I exited the Stop & Shop in Chelsea, this obviously alcoholic old woman who weighed at least 350 lbs. was swerving into the exit lane headed into the store.  Now, I didn’t honk my horn, but I did look at her like, "What are you doing?"  She’s practically side swiping me entering into the parking lot.  She pulls closer to my car, leans her bull doggish face out her window and snears at me, "Move over Fatty".  I laughed.  Normally I would have snapped back, "What?  You have 150 lbs on me at least and you’re in my lane, talk about the pot calling the kettle black on both counts.  BTW, I can lose weight, FATTY, but you cannot change your ugly bull doggish face can you Alchy?  What’s the matter, didn’t get your drinky poo on today yet?"  Instead I decided to let her have her pot shot at me.  She was, after all, older than me and well, I respect my elders, even when said elders do not deserve respect.

I say the above so I can point out exactly the mentality of most people who live in this soul sucking state.  Because these are exactly the kind of people I encounter, all day, every day.  Now you know where my rant before this one stems from.

23 more days until Coco goes to his new home.  His new mom emails Coco every other day or so from "Bear".  Too cute.  I look at him every day and a little piece of my heart cries.  I am just going to miss him soooo much.

I have a huge developing crush on Chris Cuomo from Good Morning America.

I’m in the middle of reading every Jodi Picoult book she’s ever written.  This weeks jewel is "Plain Truth".  About an Amish girl who has a baby out of wedlock in her families barn and the baby is later found dead.  She denies she ever had a baby in spite of medical evidence proving she did.  It’s interesting.  I can’t thank Liz enough for turning me onto this author.

Word remains that Brian will return to work in Mid-July.

Work is work.

That is all.

I love JOdi Picoult. I’m reading 19 Minutes right now. I didn’t know there was a S&S in Chelsea. We go to the one on RT 16 in Everett. By the Harley Davidson store. People drive like assholes in that parking lot.

Oh oh oh! I just read Nineteen Minutes and recently received….Vanishing Acts from paperbackswap.com. I absolutely looove her writing style. She just might be one of my new favorite authors.
