Saturday Java

Drinking my 3rd cup of joe reading, CL RnR trying to get motivated to do something in the house while Brian goes to PT and does the grocery shopping.  I go there to get a chuckle.  Sometimes you come across a good piece of comic writing and I could use all the laughs I can get lately.  Any way, I came across the post: "What Sucks" and of course had to respond.  http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/rnr/614670654.html  Thought it might give you a chuckle.

Why boy she’s frisky.

Fergie I am not.  Shame really…

I’ve been thinking lately, I should really take a class.  Not sure what, but something creative.  Perhaps flower arranging or, hrm, cake decorating?  Cooking is out because I am a food brat and would not want to taste probably 3/4 of the ‘delicious’ delights I’d be taught how to make.  What say you?  How about ‘How To Knit Your Own House’?

I’m really, really, yearning to own my own small piece of land…yearning like a woman in her 30’s yearns for an offspring…why is this?  Is it a substitute for not having a piece of myself?

A class would be fun, especially doing something creative. What about a painting or drawing class? I took some at the local college when I was in NY and it was pretty neat. It gives you an idea as to where to start with drawing regular sketches and then you can figure out if you want to learn more about charcoal pencils or work your way into acrylics or something. Or figure out your not into drawing and pursue another hobby. Just an idea! I hope Brian is doing well with the physical therapy. I remember when my father was in physical therapy for his knees. He came out with a scraggly body and legs like a clydesdale, LOL. Hope your having a good weekend and Happy Easter 😉

I want to take a gun safety class and learn how to shoot em! (god, I sound so rednecky!) cake decorating would be a ton of fun. What about yoga? Are you looking at the Boston Center for Adult Ed? They have schools all over. I took my GRE prep class thru them in Cambridge. What about a foreign language class?

Have you even seriously looked into owning? Rates are at record lows, housing prices are down. Talk to a mortgage company and at least see how far you really are from your dream.
