Well, mom and I went shopping Saturday. After I ripped the garment bag my dress was in, good thing it didnt rip the dress. I was pissed and started yelling and blaming Stephen for it. I asked him to take care of what caused the rip a few times before. Just before the rip I had gone in and asked to take his truck for the day because he has more room, mine is just a small single cab. He said no……so I was pissed about that too. Anyways…….mom and I went to find a bra for me that will work for the dress. The Bra Specialist couldnt help me, the dress plunges too much and they dont have a bra in the HUGE cup size I need that will work with the dress. So Im going to have to go braless. The dress pretty well holds everything in……..but we shall see. I was also going to take it to have it altered, not much has to be done to it. So, lets hope the girls dont pop out to greet the guests. That would be just great!!!!!
Mom got her dress for the wedding, I finally settled on some shoes, not exactly what I wanted but they will work. I bought all the guys ties because I thought we were just going to have them wear slacks and dress shirts, but apparently Stephen wants tuxes. Mom bought dad and John their slacks and pants so I dunno what we are gonna do now.
Yesterday Stephen and I did some more shopping. We got into another huge fight because he kept putting off getting his attire together and now we are 2 weeks before the wedding and cant agree on what they are wearing. The tuxes we originally had were $130.00 that seemed like too much for just a rental for one day. On top of that, most of these guys are already buying plane tickets and coming down here, I dont want them to have to pay a crap load of money on a rental tux. So, I just talked to Stephen and what we decided yesterday, tuxes with no jackets, is what he really wants to do, so thats what we are doing.
I have an appointment today at 12:00 to see about getting my dress altered. Was gonna do that Saturday but ran out of time.
Just called the electric company, that guy has really pissed me off, he was supposed to call to schedule an appointment to come out and view things and dicuss what needs to be done, but never did. Instead he came out and did what he wanted to do, left a note saying what he needed to do that. Which was not what we wanted, he wanted to come in off of someone elses property. So, finally got that squared away and as it turns out my original idea of how it could work, will work. So if the asshole would have just set the appointment like he was supposed to orignially we wouldnt be behind a week on this already.
I hate stupid people, I really do, they aggrivate me more than anything. I realize its been raining and no one can control the rain, I cant be mad at anyone for that putting us behind on the house. However I can be mad about stupid people holding us up. There have been so many things holding us up because of people. The appraiser, took 3 weeks for someone to finally realize we didnt have the appraisal because he wanted payment in advance, so we were held up for 3 weeks because those responsible dropped the ball. Then, we were supposed to close before we left for New York, because the appraisal held us up, they had offered to overnight everything to us in New York to sign and ship back. The afternoon of the day we were supposed to receive it they called and said they werent going to send it………why they didnt call the day before is beyond me. They were worried we might miss something. So, we rushed home that Monday to close…….only to find out 2 hours before our scheduled close that my parents had to be there. Wasnt gonna happen, mom was at work and couldnt get home to do it in time. So, dad went to pick up the paper, tried to find a notary and couldnt……..mom ended up being late to work the next day because she had to wait for the title company to open so that they could notarize it……….no one else would. If they would have told me on Thursday or Friday that my parents had to be there for close they could have made arrangements to go in before us…….so, that held us up more. Now, we dont know when they are going to start working on the property at all. I sent an email this morning asking. It is not too wet that they cant do what needs to be done. Plus, we dont know when the house is going to arrive. We were told it had an offline date of 6/25, which to me says it will be completed and ready to ship on that day if not the next day. Turns out that just means it comes offline, it still needed to be taped and textured. So our estimated delievery was 7/6 or 7/7……….well, we found out last week that the factory shuts down 2 weeks out of the year, the week of July 4th and the week of Christmas. Apparently they didnt know this because theyve never tried to get homes delievered during this week, theyve been able to order them. So now we are looking at the middle to end of this week for the house to arrive. I am beyond frustrated and ready for the damn thing to be over. I really feel like Im getting the run around and Im tired of the shit. There is no reason why they cant be out there right now doing the pad work and foundation. NO REASON!!!
