Day 23 :: A YouTube video

soooo it’s wednesday.
and i can’t stop playing bejeweled or reading new moon.
(i’m on page 548, though, so pretty soon i’ll lose that method of slackery. ooor i’ll just pick up eclipse.)

i’ve done awesome on my laundry, but luke is such a whinefest today! there are days when he’s my little angel, who will sit in a pile of his toys and happily play away….kind of like auto-pilot baby. and there’s days like today when he’s either whining, climbing my legs whining, or getting into something he knows he shouldn’t to get my attention. because, ya know, cleaning is just NOT AN OPTION! i couldn’t even get the dishwasher loaded. so…he’s in his crib on his way to la la land as week speak, and as soon as he’s out i’m gonna make some coffee and clean like a mad woman.

until my mom gets home, anyway. i have to go shop for food for christmas eve. and get stocking stuffers for matt. and then, i’m gonna come back and clean some more. it should be interesting with luke’s current mood.

it’s been flurrying all morning which is just, fab, considering we weren’t supposed to get any of the white stuff this week. it just makes me sad because we’re facing 39 degrees and rain on christmas day so all of our pretty white-ness is going to be washed away anyway. 🙁

i took a bajillion pictures the last two days but keep forgetting to upload. lynne & monalisa came over yesterday and gave us our presents. i thought about giving them theirs too…but i want them to have something to open on christmas eve when they are here. it sucks when everyone around you is opening presents and you get nothing! anyway, monalisa gave luke these soft squeaky blocks which he has been chewing on since yesterday, he loves them! and lynne made him a blanket (that matches the one she made for her baby boy) and a turtle! the turtle has luke’s name on it, and it’s super cute….i love it! she is so good with that stuff…it makes my gifts for them feel lame! she made me a crochet hook holder that is SO cute, complete with a set of hooks, and a book with some projects in it. i am really really excited to start something once we get past the holidays & lukes birthday. WHICH, by the way, is three weeks from friday. O.M.G. my baby’s first birthday is in three weeks…..is it appropriate to sob right now?
