My Caliber has an air temperature gage, next to the compass, and today, it read 103 degrees. It’s supposed to be hotter tomorrow, and the next day…and the next. Looking at sitemeter and where a lot of people come from, 103 ain’t no big deal, but to us wussy’s here in the Great Northwest, days on end over 90 are record setting.
The new double pane windows here make a difference… but ya know, it’s gonna be 20 25 degrees cooler on the coast… and I haven’t been there in a long time. And my car’s A/C works pretty well.

twas 104 on the lake today. it was ridickerous! and record setting almost too. i’m a northern girl who is not used to this heat…i very well might melt!

Yeah, but then there’s home. I finally gave in and put the air conditioner in yesterday evening, even though I’m not sure yet if I get to keep my house. I cracked every ice cube in the house today for the cat in a pan in the kitchen so he’ll have something cool. Gotta protect the furry ones.
