25 years ago today
25 years ago today I was Honorably Discharged from the US Navy.
25 years ago in January I married a Japanese woman, the friend of a friend. We got divorced 14 years ago, but are still friends. It might or might not help that we live in separate countries.
Next month will be the 11th anniversary of 1. getting out of the Foster Care Home I was in after the car wreck and 2. of moving in here – It’s the longest I have ever lived anywhere.
I kept waiting for Life to really start up. Turns out this has been The Real Thing all along.
