Bottom to top – let’s go! 8

It’s been a long hike, hasn’t it?  It only took us an hour and twenty minutes to go up to the top, but this has taken days to post!  Well, weeks, more like it.

It was a very busy day there on the trail up to the top of Multnomah Falls.  It was here that we heard a variety of languages – oh, in the crowd at the bottom of the falls we heard the most, but walking up the trail too we heard a dozen or more languages too.  The group passing us were Korean.  Pretty neat to live near a place that people come from all over the world to see, I think.

Like I said previously, I think my friend is a good photographer and I often see what she’s photgraphing and take the same shots myself:

see the differnece the camers make? this shot is with my nikon and the last one of this view was with her casio digi-cam

For a slightly different angle on the same shot, here’s this shot, which I like more and more every time I see it:

i know that these take some time to load, but they are worth waiting for, aren't they/

At this point, we are 2/3rds of the way up.  There was a convenient wide spot in the trail to rest, and in the next post, we’ll take a few minutes to rest and look around, ok?

Great photos! I have never before seen a man hiking in a suit. We have eleven official languages, and then of course there are the tourists who bring their own language along.

Gorgeous shots, as always! I find it fascinating that the one older gentleman appears to be dressed in a suit and dress shoes for the hike up! ๐Ÿ˜› There is something so neat about the way the falls coming down points one’s eyes to the stump, and the stump pointing up points one’s eyes to the falls. Great composition!
