4 weeks ago, we got what the Northeast is getting now, a blast of Arctic air, streaming down from up north. I saw Providence Rhode Island on the news tonight; I used to live there and from what I saw tonight, I’m glad I still don’t.
Last month, the waterfalls froze in The Gorge.
I drove out there, of course. Hadda see it myself:

It wasn’t too too cold – about 27 degrees F… but cold enough to stay only long enough to take a few dozen pics… and walk up to Benson Bridge and take a look around.

There are times I miss living in Southern California, where it doesn’t freeze much.
I don’t miss all the people and the raped Nature; living in the Northwest is living in natural beauty; Multnomah Falls, seen here, is only about 35 minutes from my apartment.

it is only the kind of beauty God could create. We would miss out on so much if we didn’t have it wouldn’t we…..all the wonders, the awesomeness of it all, the intricate details and design. It all shows a thoughtful God who made it to be pretty for us to behold with our eyes, so we could have something to enjoy in our life.Although it’s cold, it brings an element of wonder and delights our senses.
