Feast or Famine 2
It was a shuttle trip – out to the "crew parking" lot, and taking people from there up in the hills to the location. Two buses took three loads of people – I ran up twice, with extras and crew members.
I didn’t look around all that much, but they did have catering and I did eat well. I stayed out on the periphery and just wandered back and forth from our buses to the coffee wagon – snacks and sandwiches and stuff, and talked to people.
"Grimm" is a big deal for Portland and for Oregon – the governor of the state (!) came to visit the set. First time I’ve ever seen him in person. Wow. His security team or whatever was just a few guys, and we thought they were extras at first, they looked so much like "security for a politician". The governor is a handsome man. I’ve always liked his style – cowboy boots and a warm manner. I didn’t get to speak to him – me and the other driver were in conversation in his bus, keeping warm (it was COLD) and missed our chances to say "hi", lol.
It was a LONG day. 13.75 hours, and I have an 11 hour day today. I have to cut this short, because I have to go to work. Facinating job.

My claim to fame is having seen President Johnson once. He had two bodyguards and I think they over did it…..hugging right up next as walked along a roped off line of people shaking out stretched hands. I was back behind the front row just a tad. However I was not all broken up not being able to shake hands with him.
