grrrr…

I wrote a longish short piece earlier today, one off the top of my head, as the thoughts flowed kind of thing, one of those revealingly honest self appraisal sorts of things – I thought it was really good.

I lined up what chapter it’d be in and who’d read it and hit SAVE, and… nothing happened.

Some more of nothing happened.  At that point, in hindsight, I should have right clicked and saved it – it was all text anyways, but It would have been better to have that before, like, foresight, instead of hindsight, because, something finally happened – the IE said "CANNOT SHOW THIS PAGE" and I lost the whole thing.

OD has been very flaky lately – that or my connection to it is bad, which seems unlikely, since this is cable internet – most things come up right away.  OD has been having problems lately, unpredictably, just when I have time to actually do some reading here and catching up with my friends.

That unpredictability is a real drag.
