Home again

I stayed two days longer than I thought I might, and completely spaced on the Annual Inspection today for the apartment. I keep it fairly clean, so I guess I wasn’t worried too much, but we do have a new manager, and they say a "new broom sweeps the cleanest".

A vigorous knocking on the door at 11 reminded me of the inspection.

In other words, I’ll have to do a "re inspection" tomorrow.  I’ve been here over 14 years, and for much of that time, smoking wasn’t prohibited in any apartment, and my white walls are not white.

No big deal, and I now have a new "Plan B": I could move to Crescent City; there’s room for me and it would be welcomed.

***

A nice drive on two Nice days:  703 miles total, with 14 hours and 21 minutes spent moving.  385 miles down and there and 324.6 on the way back, a good, easy drive.

I love my car.

I love my camera too, but I’m not sure how many pictures I took; with digital cameras and big memory cards, I don’t much worry about "how many I took", because I rarely run out of space for pictures.  I’ll need to get them out of the camera and into the digital darkroom.

A good trip and a nice drive, nice people, Great weather, and lots of pictures of California Redwood trees.

stay tuned.

always nice for a mini vacation and even nicer “Plan B”: I could move to Crescent City; there’s room for me and it would be welcomed.”

I like Plan B a lot – you would probably be a lot happier out of the apartment and into a more sensible housing.

Glad to have ya back. 🙂 Can’t wait to see the photos. They’ll be awesome for sure. Light of heart,

Good luck for your inspection tomorrow. They might decide your apartment needs some new paint…understandable after 14 years.

COOL, and you sound like the trek did you good!

perhaps moving would be a good idea. would get you away from things that might not be so good for you. a fresh start could be a goo thing for you. take care,

good luck with the re-inspection!
