how she saw things 2

I take a lot of pictures but very few of myself – these pics were taken by my Japanese friend in 2007.

Here I am at Depoe Bay on the coast:

On the beach near Charleston, Oregon:

I’ve been thinking of shaving – here in these pics I was clean shaven but I grew back a goatee last year.  A few entries ago, I wrote that I was thinking of shaving; what did the readers think?  The opinions were about equal, for and against.  Just about that time, my skin broke out beneath the beard and I shelved the plan.  If someone had told me when I was 14 that my skin would be breaking out all my life, I might have then just said fuck it and jumped off the roof – in the early high school days, I had acne pretty bad and hated it.

Glasses, acne, not a jock – public high school sucked for me.

Then my parents died when I was 15 and I went to private schools.  The acne didn’t go away… but over the years. it faded and while it still drops in for a visit, it’s not as bad as it once was.

ryn: i love aviators and shaggy hair. plus you have a good jawline. i would have told you then but i wasn’t even a twinkle in my fathers eye yet.

Nice 🙂 The Crooked River canyon used to scare me when I was younger when we drove down into it – my grandma and aunts had property out there – they took the girls one week and the boys the next week… unfortunately my grandma and aunt sold the property a few years ago.

I like the goatee. It makes you look dignified.

that’s some nice looking scenery, there! take care,

random noter: Nice pics. Personally, I like facial hair. I was thinking something similar about my own recent break out the other day. It’s depressing at 28 to still be hoping I’ll “grow out of it.” I was a huge dork in high school. Come to think of it…I still am. Have a nice day! 🙂
