I’m goin’

The snow is being rained away.  So is the slush.

I still have chains on my stepvan… I think I’ll take ’em off at some point this morning.  It’s pretty wet out there… and very windy.  The city says it’s done plowing – wait for the rain to melt the snow, I guess.

The papers are in bundles of TENS this morning – I’ll be getting fewer than seventy bundles this morning and bout ninety or so tonight.

I will be driving down to SoCal next week.  I’ll probably leave early Tuesday… but if I feel like it, I could leave Monday night.  Jhni had her phones turned off on Christmas, to avoid any family dramas, so I couldn’t get a hold of her, but she emailed me and will be waiting for me.  I think I’ll take her along with me to the family meet – I’ve known her for over 30 years, longer, in fact, than anyone in my family.

Christmas was no big deal here – living alone means why bother with any decorations.  No lights or tree totake down, and no bags of wrapping paper to dispose of.

Speaking of papers, I should call ’em and see how much earlier they are today.
