Intensive Care/update
A asked me to get a hold of the woman he was seeing, but she has dropped her Facebook account and I don’t have her phone number. I’ve been looking on the web, but… nothing so far.
A is in Intensive Care at OHSU (hoping by chance she reads this)
I have to go to my Job Assessment this afternoon, the phone is low on minutes (and I’m low on cash until Wednesday, and I’m low anyway, with no room for extras)

1 misc. note: I was treated in that Intensive Care unit at OHSU 15 years ago, when I wrecked my car on the Morrison Bridge. I do not remember any of that – I woke up weeks later in another hospital.
My friend A was there for me then, now I have to be there for him – the real test of friendship. It is one of the Ultimate tests, and you know who your friends REALLY are.
He passed then; it’s my turn now.

update:
I know she works for Clackamas County, but omg, try typing her name and "Clackamas County" in the search box.
OK, maybe I’m ignorant about Searching, but I can use a phone and I did get through to HER Voice Mail, and left my name, number, the hospital’s name and A’s room number.
I was ready to go see him last night – it was late but what the hell, it’s what you do for a friend. He called me and said another friend was on his way to get his keys, feed his dog, turn on some lights in the house, and bring him his phone – he didn’t have it on him, and we’re all screwed now anyway – our cell phones remember numbers so we don’t have to, and if you don’t have your phone, well, good luck. A called his ex to get my number; she called me, now I’m calling around for him.
That other friend didn’t show up and A is worried about his dog. I’ll go there after the Job Assessment and feed her, like I do when A is out of town. I maybe should blow off the Job Assessment, but… I don’t think I should.
Meds, don’t fail me now.

I hope you get to see him today.

yes, go to your Job Assessment and then to look after A’s dog. She will be happy to see you when you get there. Maybe A’s other friend will have done that by the time your Job Assessment is over. One thing at a time.
