Late start Wednesday

It’s Wednesday, the day Middle School begins an hour late.  Between the High School run and the Middle School run, I have a little more than an hour to kill, so I usually go to McDanalds and get some breakfast.  I did today, and sat in the LDS lot we park in behind the Transportation Dept., listening to a CD playing Santana’s latest.

I got out and poured some transmission stop leak in my van’s tranny – adding fluid is way cheaper than getting it fixed, on the order of many hundreds of dollars cheaper.  I voted for our Union Contract; as far as I can tell, since it pays back to July 07, I should get enough to get a new transmission.  Not that I really WANT to, ya know.  I’d rather pay down some bills or spend some of the money on ME, but the van has been good to me, and I need it to get back and forth to work, so, I probably will waste spend the money on a transmission.

His picture was shot at Crater Lake this summer, but I swear there was one on my bus yesterday, because after I dropped off all the High School kids and parked my bus, I found days of cracked sunflower seeds under one of the seats.

Since it’s late start day, that means I don’t have as long a mid-day break either, so I’ll make this a short entry – one a day (at least) you know, for NoJoMo (or whatever it is).  This is like, number 54 for the month anyway.

Shit, I must not have much of a life, if I write so much here, eh?  Sigh.  No one to tell things to except for you guys.  Not that that’s bad or anything,; I mean, jeeez, if I had someone in my life to talk to, think how much you’d miss out on!

One of my OD friends has been calling me and we’ve talked for hours; my cell phone minute allowance is nearly used up, but it resets Sunday night, and I have free weekend minutes, so if I’m careful, I won’t have to pay that 35 cents a minute for going over my 500 minute allowance.

I was gonna cut my minutes down to the minimum, 250 a month, but that was before I started really using them up.  Too bad most everyone I’d call is east of me; I’m on Pacific Time, and nearly everyone else is on Central Time of Eastern Time.

Come to think of it, if that’s the biggest bitch I got, then things are going ok.
