Today’s meme is for iamshe who has been writing here on Open Dairy since November 13, 2003. We share 4-5 favorites, but she has quite a favs list of her own. She is married to her friend, her husband, and they share three children, aged 15-20 and 4 dogs.

2. A challenge: I haven’t been reading your diary too long, so I’m at a loss for a real challenge. So instead, I challenge my favorites to visit her diary (link above) and say hello.
3. A color I associate with you: Is in fact the color of your diary’s front page, which hasn’t changed in the time I’ve known you (unless I’m not paying attention). The graphic on the sides of her diary is of flowers growing in a line, and the body of the diary is a color appropriate for this time of year, a summery color.
4. Something I like about you: Your like your husband and call him your best friend. It is refreshing to read of such regard between spouses.
5. My earliest memory of you is a note, an all but empty note, lol, that you left on my entry of February 23, 2006 timelines .
6. The animal you remind me of: Since you have four dogs, a dog immeadiately comes to mind. This is not a bad thing- you are a good looking woman, so I doubt anyone has ever called you a "dog". I think of a purebred dog, perhaps Labrador Retriever of some kind, of a color near your diary’s.
7. Something I’ve always wanted to ask you is this: What do you think the secret to a good, rewarding marriage is?
Good for you Cat, i am glad to hear you are going to pray. As I was driving to pick up eldest son today, i was thinking of you over there. Then God put this thought in my mind.He is going to listen to your prayers and bring a silver lining to the cloud have been under.

ryn: Yeah. I did it a lot with Caitlyn. I’ve got a picture of me doing it once with her somewhere. She loves music, dancing, and singing a LOT. I don’t know if it’s because of the fact I played music to her, but I do know that she moved around the most when I was letting her listen. And, little Damien started groovin too today when I put the music on for him. I know it doesn’t hurt, so why not?

Wow. I envy her already! I would absolutely LOVE to call my husband my best friend and a husband I am very happy to be with. Sometimes it really hurts me that I can’t say that about him yet. I try so hard to get to that point, but it seems futile at times. I desire nothing more than to be his best friend. I am almost afraid to read the answer to Iamshe’s question because I know it won’t fit for me
