On the wall behind these monitors, I have some of my photos on the wall, photos to remind me of places and people and cats:

Ok, well, "Flo" from Progressive Auto Insurance sent me an autographed picture.  There are waterfalls from The Gorge up there, and a few pics of cars I’ve had, and there are two pics of my black beauty, my 2009 Dodge Caliber SXT.

My first cat here, Hope Cat, is on the right; she lived with me for a year.  Above her and to the left is a hand-drawn picture of my Blacky Cat, that Ainetheon made for me in England.

My friend K* from Japan called last night; she is coming in February for a three-week visit.  It will be, she said, a 31-50-20 celebration.  We met 31 years ago.  I will be 50 in March; she turned 50 last July.  She left Oregon 20 years ago.  She said "we haven’t done that for years – lets plan out a road trip".  31 years this summer since we met in 1981.

She said to apologize to my readers; she is going to keep me busy and I may not be online as much.

Heh.  When she comes, I always have hundreds of pics to post afterwards.  I have discovered new waterfalls in the Gorge to go see – yes, I’ve lived here a long time, but there is still new stuff to go see.  And take pictures of.

31 years and no end in sight.

It could be worse, you know.  The marriage ended in 1995, but the friendship has not.
