Sunday POD
The Plan Of the Day is to go take pictures at Mt. Tabor.
It is gray and COLD ouside.
I’m not in a rush – it’s only 10:15am and the light doesn’t look like it will ever be "perfect" for photography.
They say we will have a "Major Winter Event" Wednesday and Thursday – up to a foot of snow down to the valley floor.
That’s me – the GPS shows the parking lot as 96 feet above sealevel.
I’m ready. I’ve got cable chains for Black Cali. Not that I need to go anywhere.

Bad Water Basin, the lowest point in North America, in Death Valley. Minus 283 feet below sealevel.
HOT and DRY.
That little girl is in her late 20’s now – she is my friend’s daughter, and this was…. 1994 or 5.
Time has gone by.

My second visit – or was it the thrid? visit to Crater Lake, in the summer of 1994, and the rental Explorer I had then.

I dream of warmer locales. I woke up this morning totally convinced it was Monday already. Guess I’m ready for it – I have a lot to do tomorrow.
Check the mail. Take the cat to the Vet’s. Look for some free help with the Unemployment hearing Thursday.
This keyboard is not in good shape – I have to go back and add letters that don’t type the first time.
I suppose I should not eat or drink at my desk, but the cat has taken over the kitchen table.
*****
