the odds

Powerball is up to over a half-Billion dollars.

The odds of me winning are astronomically high.

Higher than the odds of coming out of that coma and NOT being damaged by the brain injury.

I did come out of the coma, with some damage, and I think I’ll buy a ticket anyway.

I kind of won the lottery in 1998; I lived.

You’ve seen the car.

Take a look again:

Would you have bet on there being any survivors in THAT?

I wouldn’t have either, but I did survive, with a LOT of help.

The odds on the lottery are incredibly high, and I’m gonna drop two bucks on it anyway.

(I know that probably one or two numbers at most on that ticket will get picked, and I’ll have another bookmark, but..)

What the hell. I survived THAT, and no one outside of the medical field would have bet on it.

Glasgow Coma Scale of 8. Ten day coma. Another 20 days of a comatose state. 59 days in three hospitals. The odds were against me then too.

What the hell, two dollars.

Ya never know.

btw. got a letter yesterday.  The Extended Unemployment benefits end December 29.

In a month.

It’s "oh shit" time anyway, so why not.

the odds of winning are 175 million to one. that being said, there’s no way you could possibly be that one if you don’t bother to play. so i played. take care,
