Things are coming together (Edit)

I have a job. Another job, a second job, as a matter of fact.

I work with Mentor in their Children’s Program, and met my new client Tuesday. We will have our first "official" session today, one of three a week we’ll try to schedule, because I am the boy’s mentor for 12 hours a week.

Another job I interviewed for in May called me back for a second interview last week, at ALSO, and they called me yesterday to say "We are scheduling New Employee Orientations – how’s September 6 for you?"

(guess I passed that piss test.  I hate those things.  Guilty until proven Innocent, and you’re never innocent.  Like those bogus 3-strand DNA tests)

I got the job! On-Call, for service in group Homes. They tell me that a graveyard shift might open up! As a kind of vampire (no! A Cat, a creature of the night) I always have preferred the night shift. It’s quieter, cooler, and there are fewer people out and about. Less trouble.

I will be working with children at Mentor and with adults at ALSO, all with Developmental Disabilities.

Things are coming together and soon I will have enough money, will earn enough money, to pay my bills.

(I sure hope so)

I will be a productive member of society again.

No? Then, Onwards we go.

* sometimes I think "we" instead of "me" because I’ve always felt like body, mind, and "me" are really separate, but integrated so I I am a kind of triple being. Not like Father, Son, and The Holy Ghost, but kinda sorta like that.
