Thursday near the end of the year

Monacita came up from California but Oregon germs were too strong for her and she’s in no shape to go the the Gorge.  She was kind of like the unifying theme – the people and the trip were built around her.

I’ve got nothing to do, really, now that the Gorge trip is off, and, it’s a good 70 mile round trip I guess I don’t really need to make by myself.

I’d like to go for a drive, so I’m thinking of going down to Wilsonville to go window shopping at Fry’s.  It’s nothing at all like the Gorge down there, but it could be made into a nice Oregon Country drive, and I’m curious to see what a new cable modem would cost – mine has reached its "end of life", the cable company tells me, and would speed up my internet, probably.

I’m still debating where to go.  The Gorge is always there.

(the pictures in the previous post were taken a few years ago.  Part of The Old Highway is closed for reconstruction – Vista House is closed all winter, it looks like, but of course Multnomah Falls is open and both the Interstate and Old Highway parking areas there are open)

Sorry to hear your plans fell through. 🙁 Light of heart,

Hope you get to do something else interesting instead. The Fry’s trip at least sounds productive. When handed lemons . . . .

Your friend is more important than the waterfall.I hope he/she gets well soon! We can all see just how beautiful the waterfall looks in the photos you took a while ago! It can’t have changed too much as the days have gone by.
