i makehome made apple sauce all the time! But everything is to taste so i don’t have measurements! I use a mixture of granny smith (green) and golden delicious (yellow) apples but i use a couple more green then yellow for a slightly tart flavor. I peel and core the apples then boil them til they are tender (im sure you can steam them if you want). Then i mash them up til they are mostly smooth but still a little chunky (its totally to your taste

then you add soome butter, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract. Mix it all together add however much you want of those until they taste how you like it, and there you have it. Theres really no right or wrong way to make it and its really easy! Enjoy and let me know how it turns out!
