Blogathon # 24: Time for bed…

Time Posted: 8:31pm EST

The kids are still up, but they are less than five minutes away from hitting the sack. Ethan has a strict schedule that we stick to every night. We offer him a juice and a nummy and ask him what time is it. He knows the routine by now and says “It’s time to go to bed.” we all walk up stairs, tuck him in and say good night, and most of the time he drains his small sippy cup and dozes off to sleep. Most of the time…

Jonathan falls a sleep in his playpen every night, and then we carry him upstairs to his crib. Eventually we’ll get him in a good routine as well, but Ethan was late getting into one as well, so we’ll be patient with Jon too. Our routine isn’t perfect but it works for bedtime and naptime so we really can’t complain when it gets results.

Time for a quick update: Ethan was just put to bed… but Jonathan is still running around. Leah wants to keep him awake for another half hour cause he napped for a long time and because he hasn’t had his snack yet. Good reasons and since I’m not doing much in that field today, I’ve got nothing to say for or against it. Soon this place will be super peaceful and then I’m going to attack some of your questions. Until then, see ya in 30!
