Blogathon # 25: 12 hours down… 12 to go!

12 hours and 24 posts later… we are halfway through the Blogathon!

Does it feel like it’s been that long already? That time just flew right by, but the bad news is it did the last two times as well. After this is when things really start to slow down and just crawl… Hopefully not too bad this time.

Congrats to all my fellow bloggers who have made it this far. This in itself is a great acheivement and now we are really getting somewhere! The best part is I’m still getting donations. Several hours ago I passed the $300 mark! I have no words to describe how happy I am about that! This is actually the most pledges I have ever managed to generate for a single blogathon. I’m hoping to get a few more as well. It’s not too late to pledge… cause you can keep donating up to 48 after the event is over.

Like the title says 12 hours down… 12 more to go. We can do it people… I know we can. Break out the coffee or caffine laced drinks and let’s keepy typing deep into the night!

We’re getting there!

When do I start? Can I start late/early? Everybody starts together, all over the world–that’s a big part of what makes the Blogathon such an amazing event. For reference, here’s what time it will be in cities around the world at 6:00 AM Pacific. If you cannot start at 6:00 AM Pacific, join the B-Schedule, which starts at 9:00 PM. I’m a tool … what time CENTRAL doesb schedule start? I thought it meant 8 my time (it’s now 8:10) … please email me agoldensoph@yahoo.com so I can get this straightened out. I don’t wanna mess my first ever ‘thon up!

“Blogathon will take place Saturday, July 28th at 6am PST. For those with other commitments (such as religious observances, etc.) that cannot be rescheduled, there will be a B-Schedule which will begin at 9pm PST on Saturday, July 28th and continue until 9pm the following night.” 9PM PST = _PM CST … ?

By the way, congrats on the 300 mark! I hope you email me soon, if not, I’ll just keep blogging as is, I guess from 8 tonight to 8 tomorrow :/ Will my … “help” … still be … allowed? Or will I be disqualified?

If the b-schedule starts at 9pm PST, that’s actually 12am EST, which makes it 11pm your time. So you start at 11pm and don’t finish until the next night at 11pm. Good luck!
