Blogathon # 44: Doing all right…

Time Posted: 6:31am EST

I’ve been walking around the house with the boys, and that combined with the icing I did a while back… my feet are feeling much better. They’re still a little swollen, but it doesn’t hurt to walk on them right now nor to curl my toes. I can’t wait to hit the sack and go to bed, and the good news is we only have three hours left! We’ve been up and writing for 21 hours! How friggin’ amazing is that!

The boys are watching a “land before time” movie while I have the new Bon Jovi album “Lost Highway” softly playing on the computer. So I’m doing what I can to pass the time, but when I’m finished this entry, I’m going to pace around again for a few moments to stretch out my legs and such. Chris and Leah are still sleeping but there’s no point waking them up yet, the boys are doing all right at the moment (knock on wood).

We’ve come so far, and all for a great cause. I keep reminding myself of that and it’s been getting me through the night. One piece of good news, I didn’t need to drain that second power drink. It’s still in the fridge and will stay there until who knows when. I’ll probably let Chris have it if he wants. So things are all right from here, and the sun should be coming up very soon. I hope everyone else is doing just as well, and keep writing… there’s only five more entries to go!

You shouldn’t say “everyone else” because remember, some of us, ahem, me … are in another group, and have a long long long very long way to go. And please, when you wake up tomorrow, make rounds to us b groupers and show some support. It’d mean a lot to us. We’ve come so far, and all for a great cause. I keep reminding myself of that and it’s been getting me through the night. Amen. I have until 11 tonight to go. And right now it’s 5:39 AM. Yeowch!

Sorry about that, when I get back up later today I’ll come back on and leave notes to support you as much as you’ve supported me. Thanks a lot!
