New pictures and some updates!

Things are going all right this week. I went to see the doctor today and while there is no change with neurology, my heart seems to be reacting well to the meds I was assigned. That’s a good thing, cause that had me worried for a while. I’m still worried about my head, but with the heart back to norm, that should ease the stresses and make things easier around the house. The house isn’t a complete disaster, but could always be better. I plan to work on that a lot today so Leah doesn’t have to do it over the weekend.

Good news on the potty training front. Ethan has been peeing in the potty for quite a while now and is a pro, but the poo-poo has been another story all together. Today Ethan had his first sit down poo on the potty, thankfully! One is enough to get a streak going. Ethan has always been able to let us know when he’s ready so we just have to watch him for the signs and take him to the bathroom. Boys are always difficult to potty train since they can pee from more than one position, so I’m glad we’re making progress! A month or so ago, I bought some toys and stashed them away for a special occassion. When he made his first book, I grabbed a good one from the stash and rewarded him for a job well done. I’m hoping that kind of encouragement and praise will give him the right impression.

Tomorrow is the release of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, and there’s a lot of hype surrounding this book. Many people are scared that she’s going to kill off Harry at the end of the book. I hope she doesn’t because you could always use a loop hole to write more books. Besides, after all the crap that Hrry’s been through, don’t you think he earned the right to a happy ending, right? Rowling has also been preaching a big death in this book like the last two. Well, I’m not sure which character is going to kick the bucket but if it’s some crap character like Percy or Hedwig… that’s just a cop out. When you say major character, we’re thinking Hagrid, Ron or even Harry. Will be interesting if she has the minerals to go through with her threat. I don’t know when I’ll pick it up, but I might hit wally mart and pick up the cheapest copy around. When book six came out, Walmart had crates of it and they were $15 cheaper, so I’ll likely go there tomorrow to snap one up. So if I’m quiet this weekend, you’ll know why…

So I’m doing okay this Friday afternoon. I hope everyone else is doing well and I’ll be back to leave notes and what not. Until then, take care and have a good weekend!

Hahaha cruising for chicks. Too funny! Boys are ALWAYS harder to potty train. My mom used to work at a preschool and the girls were potty trained at 18 months, the boys were about 3 1/2-4 years old. lol. You slow pokes!
