Erasing my past lives

False emotions
Hide between
The lines of my skin
I’m somewhere between
The Sun and Moon
As the Earth
Loses its voice
And the wind begins
Once again

My life is symbolized
Inside shades of gray
For good and evil
Bear no names
Everything comes and goes
I cannot find a beginning
So I know
There cannot be an end

My eyes
Riddle lives
Unspoken
And unseen
I’m the lie
You can never be
And I live inside the echo
Cyclic lives
You never remember

I’m your fallen angel
The Messiah of the night
Just another shadow of light
With the wisdom of the stars
As my guide
Through this forest
Of terror and fright
As I hide inside your eyes
Crawl my way to your brain
I awake your past time
As I erase the memories of my lives

Thanks! I have had a lot of practice.  I’m 36, and I began writing when I was 17.  I earned a BA in English, a Master of Business Administration, and a Scholar pursuing a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership.  I am currently writing a novel, and the poems reflect my protagonist Raphael Tiriel.  I’m in the editing stages of my novel before I either find a publisher or start my own company.  So, I hope you enjoy the poems, and you are always welcome to come back and read more.

@raphaeltiriel So, your char is Raphael Tiriel and his reflections are the poems? Very inventive! 🙂

@littleavocado

Yes, and the novel should come hopefully by the end of the year.  I’ll keep updates going.

Yes, I love being creative.  There might be more inventive things that I do with writing.
