Photo Dump part 3 – Ashley’s birthday party.

Ashley’s first birthday party was on the 24th of February.

  
  
Preparation! Lamington cake (it’s an aussie thing), and a table covered in fresh-baby things: the hat the hospital gave her, the outfit she wore home, the photo from her birth announcement, her footprints taken when she was born. Also a few ultrasound photos, and a photo album full of images from her first year (I was so proud of this table and it pretty much went ignored. Bah!). Balloons and streamers in every corner of the party room, as well as streamers hanging from the doorways.

Gifts from Aunty Stacy and Uncle Nick: A ladybug outfit with matching polkadot shoes, a puzzle, and a caterpillar as big as Ashley!

  
Gifts from Aunty Kristen and Uncle Matt: 3 cute onesies and a "discovery cube" toy. Also a growth chart that went un-photographed.

  
And… pink jeggings and a star tshirt from Grandma Lisa’s boss.
