Searching for Lost things. (1)

It is sunday..Those that know me know Sunday equals an essay about God. Now those that think I talk about God too much might not want to read this. But if you are my friend this apart of who I am. And I embrace you wholey..Give it a try to embrace me wholey.;) So I will divide all of this in two parts.

1. What I learned in my church service.

2. What I learned in sunday school(which will be the following entry after this one)

So here goes. I thought I would start with a song.

We will Stand

You are my brother, You are my sister

So take me by the hand

Together we will work until he comes.

There is no foe that can defeat us

When we are walking side by side

As Long as there is love

We will stand.

So the message of church had two seperate messages. One was our reflection bulletin and one was our service message. I will write my own interpretations after if I feel inclined and of course there actual message also.

Reflection Bulletin:

* Longing to escape*

The lord is my light and my salvation.

Whom shall I fear?

The Lord is the strength of my life

Of whom shall I be afraid?

.Psalms 27:1.

Imprisioned by our fears, we long for escape, for freedom. But the father of lies ensnares us again and again with thoughts like"What if I fail? " and/or "what if nobody likes me?" Or "I will never be good enough."

Over and Over we give in to defeat but have faith..Dont let your god given confidence slip away. In times when Our fears over welm us, we must listen to God’s voice. God will give us the strength and courage to do his will If we will ask him. So ask him. God loves us unconditionally. As his word tells us: There is no fear in love,but perfect love casteth out fear.(1 john 4:18)

God loves you. God believes in you, and through his blood you are more then good enough. Have Faith.Claim God’s Truth. Find renewed courage this day.

Ok and next and I will write the message. I of course am Thinking clearly off the top of my head and when I interepret the parables it will mostly my version. So heed what thou wilt.

Searching For Lost things

Have you lost anything? Of value? You search and You search..

Have You found it yet?

God never gives up searching.He always looks For the lost.

During Jesus’s time on earth, he knew those that needed to know god. He was them. He reached out to them. He touched thier lives. Are you a living testament? Are you searching for the lost? Jesus used parables, To show how much he loved and cared for us.One of those parable was about the shepard and it goes like this:

Now the tax collectors and the sinners all gathered around to hear Jesus. But the phariseesabd the teachers of the law muttered"This man welcomes sinners and eats with them." Then Jesus told this parable" supose one of youhas a hundred sheep and lost one of them. Doesn’t he live the 99 sheep and go look for the lost one?And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home? Then of course he calls his friends and neighbors and proclaims to them"Rejoice I have found my lost lamb" I tell you in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one lost soul then the 99 that are already found.*( Luke 15:1-7)

You can use alot of excuses fr why you stop searching for something. But again nothing is impossible if you are deligent. and Again it is another Parable that can teach us such:

*Or perhaps a woman has ten coins and loses one. Doesnt she light a lamp and search for it deligently? And of course when she finds it doesnt she praise God and Tell her friends? Of course she does.In the same way God rejoices over one sinners repentance.* (Luke 15:8-10)

What does these Parables teach us? Of course we know the answer. The shepard didnt wait for the sheep to come back. DId he? No, he didnt. He searched for it until he found it. God does the same thing. He searches your heart. He doesn’t just wait. Are you ready? Are you willing? 

Then there are us that stop heeding to God. We give up.falter. No longer hear his word. 

God even has a parable for those doesn’t he?

*Jesus continued"there is a man that had two sons,The younger one said to his father. Father give me my share of the estate. So he divided the property amongst them.Not long after that, the young son got together all he had and set off to a distant country.and squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen in the country and he was sent to the field to feed his pigs.He longed to fill his stomach with the pods they were eating.But no one gave him anything. When he came to his senses he said How many of my fathers servants are better off then I? I will go to my Father and say to himFather I have sinned against heaven and you.I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of

your hired servants. so he got up and went to see his father.  But while he was still along way off his father saw him and was filled with compassion or him: He ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him. 

The son cried out  Oh father I have sinned against you. I am unworthy to be called your son. I am unworthy of your love. 

But the father said to his servants" Quick get the best robe! Put a ring on his finger and sandles on his feet! Bring the fattened calf so we can kill it. Lets have a feast to celebrate.

 FOR THIS SON OF MINE WAS DEAD AND IS ALIVE AGAIN. 

HE WAS LOST AND IS NOW FOUND* (luke 15:11-22)   

God isn’t passive. He is currently searching for you. Are you willing? Will you answer? Is your heart ready? Or are you making excuses for your lost soul? Jesus’s Plan was to SEEK and SAVE.I f you are lost in depression, darkness,your sins, your weakness, Don’t you want to be saved? Give God glory he rejoices over every soul. Rejoice with him!
