Rodolfo’s got nothin’ on me!

wait… i am rodolfo… shit…

i’m so excited.  i carry the score around with me like its attached to my hand.  unfortunately i have two other operas to learn before i need to begin looking at that.  *sigh*  in sexual terms, whats that called, prolonged… no, thats not right.  something about… oh yes, i remember.  coitus interruptus!  lol

last night i found the english aria i want to sing.  it is so gorgeous.  its call New York Lights from A View from the Bridge.  its just beautiful. 

i have to give a huge thanks (though she will never read this) to my coach, Beth Kirchhoff.  her and i have been working on bohéme for the better part of a year and half.  so when it actually comes to learning it, i’m sure a lot of it will be just rememorizing it.  that makes me excited.

i’ve been told that there is an alarming trend in american opera singers to show up for the first rehearsals and not know their music.  that makes me very sad.  i’m not going to vow or promise, but i am going to try my hardest to NOT do that ever.  i’ll let you know how that turns out.

anyway, i’ve got alot of stuff to do today… will write again soon!
