Twilight and Stars

Across the twilight dancing silhouettes appear

as if in a dream, floating among the stars in the sky

twirling slowly through the clouds

until they look like you and me

eyes so blue staring deeply through my brown pools

hands so gently placed around my waist

holding me close, we become one

just one heart flowing between us

one breath we share

as our bodies drift away and we are free among the stars

nothing will keep us apart here

distance does not exist in a place so perfect

and forever will we be together

hand in hand, skin to skin

never letting go

only we can understand how perfect this is

only we can stay here

in this twilight…. floating among the start
