La Dolce Vita

Last Sunday I went to a screening of La Dolce Vita by Fellini. A black and white Italian movie dating from 1960. It played in film museum Eye in the largest Cinema 1. It was nearly sold out; there must have been more than 200 people. This gave me a good feeling. Cinema isn’t dead. People still want to go to good movies.

This 3 hour movie is about a reporter in Rome and his life and relationships. It has the famous Trevi fountain scene. I liked it. Certainly very good. Although it doesn’t reach the brilliance of Otto e Mezzo.
